“From the moment we met Ms. Roth at the Open House I felt this year was going to be very special for Brooke. Ms. Roth has a special way to make her classroom feel warm, friendly, and fun. Brooke is excited to learn! Everyday she gets home and jumps into her homework- when Brooke talks about her day she has a big smile. I cannot thank Ms. Roth enough, I think very highly of her- she is special to our family and most importantly Brooke is having her BEST YEAR yet! Thank you.”

“I would like to recognize Guy Gehrman for his excellence in education. My son Jake had him for Psychology class and American Literature. He has been teaching at Pacelli for over 30 years. He also taught English when I was in school in the early 1980’s. During the final week of the first semester my son fell inn with pneumonia. He missed 10 days of school and several finals during this time. We worked hard to prepare him for exams that he could take. He stated how much he hated missing Mr. Gehrman’s class because he needed to hear him talk about the subject. Jake stated this teacher made the material interesting and pertinent. He enjoyed listening to his examples, as it helped him remember the material. He liked how he went over short stories in Literature class and made the stories come alive. Jake survived pneumonia and his finals. Jake still refers to some of the topics in the psych class and recently used a story he read in Mr. Gehrman’s class to write diocesan assessment. Learning is not learning if you can’t retain or use what you hear in class. I am grateful to Guy Gehrman’s commitment to education at our school.”
