Leadership Development

With a wave of senior leadership facing retirement, the time is now to begin developing the next leaders for your organization. This course will provide an opportunity for participants to evaluate their own leadership skills, develop motivational strategies, and establish and practice a personal leadership style that will meet the organization’s requirements. This course is offered as a TelePresence offering at three of our campuses with the instructor rotating each in-person session. (3 credits)

Cost after grant funding: $600/participant

Critical Soft Skills for the Modern Workplace

With record-low unemployment rates, many employers are struggling to attract and develop employees with the core soft skills that are necessary for success. In the Critical Soft Skills course, employees will recognize the value of personal accountability and professionalism in the workplace while developing foundational skills necessary to be successful at any level.

Supervision

One of the biggest talent development hurdles is promoting talented workers to supervisory positions but not giving them the tools to be successful. In this course, learners will develop the ability to provide timely and constructive feedback, motivate others, apply policies and procedures, administer discipline, and evaluate and improve the performance of others. This course is designed to assist new, experienced, and aspiring front-line supervisors and managers with the skills necessary to lead their teams. (3 credits)

Cost after grant funding: $450/participant
Cost includes all course materials.

Marshfield Campus
Wednesdays January 15 – April 8 (no class Wednesday, March 25)

Servant Leadership

This short course (three class meetings) will dive deep into the principles and practices of servant leadership. Participants will discover how the ego and an inward mindset will not only stymie the growth of a leader but also stress professional and personal relationships. Participants will be encouraged to look honestly at their own relationships at work and at home and consider how they can grow to become the best versions of themselves!

Cost after grant funding: $190/participant
