Caption: The “History Homecoming” event on Friday, August 9, invites community members to bring in historic UW-Stevens Point items for a special 125th anniversary exhibit this fall.
From a Stevens Point State University letter jacket to an older version of a stuffed Stevie Pointer, do you own a piece of history from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point?
Share your memorable object as part of the “History Homecoming” event on Friday, August 9, from 1-4 p.m. at University Archives in Room 520 Albertson Hall, 900 Reserve St., Stevens Point. Every object tells a story, so bring the item or a photo of it to share your university memories with members of UW-Stevens Point’s Historic Preservation Subcommittee and archive representatives.
Items may be chosen for temporary loan as part of a special 125th anniversary exhibit in the Noel Fine Arts Center’s Edna Carlsten Gallery. It will be offered as part of UW-Stevens Point’s Homecoming celebration this fall. Items will be returned after the exhibit.
